On March 9, Professor Shen Yajing and Associate Professor Wang Yiwen from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) visited Nanjing University's School of Electronic Science and Engineering (ESE) for an undergraduate teaching exchange and a PhD early admission info session. They met with Dean Liu Bin, Deputy Secretary Kong Linghong and Vice Dean Jia Xiaoqing.
Discussions covered undergraduate education, interdisciplinary talent cultivation, and student mobility. A session introduced students to the HKUST Early Admission Scheme (EAS) for direct PhD entry, followed by academic talks on haptic-enabled robotics and brain-computer interfaces.
The exchange strengthened ties and laid groundwork for future collaboration. ESE will continue expanding international platforms to broaden student horizons.
