Recently, the 2023 Science and Technology Progress Award of the Chinese Institute of Command and Control (CICC) was officially announced. The project "Key Technologies for Integrated Management and Transmission of Giant Dynamic Networks in Air, Space, and Ground" led by Professor Haibo Zhou won the first prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award, with the main contributors including Kanglian Zhao, Lifeng Wang, Gang Li, Nang Cheng, Ting Ma, Wenfeng Li, Zhisheng Yin, Jian Wang, Xiaoyu Liu, Bo Qian, Yuting Xu.
The Chinese Institute of Command and Control (CICC) was established on September 16, 2012. It is the only national-level society registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs in the field of command and control science and technology in China, and is a national science and technology social organization. It is a formal group member of the China Association for Science and Technology and is under its direct leadership. CICC is qualified to recommend "Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering". In 2018, it was evaluated as a 4A-level national social organization by the Ministry of Civil Affairs.
The CICC Science and Technology Progress Award is awarded once a year and has three levels of awards: first, second, and third prizes. It is awarded to projects that have made creative contributions in the field of command and control technology development, technological innovation, promotion and application of advanced scientific and technological achievements, promotion of the industrialization of high-tech, and completion of major command and control projects.
